Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish, and I decided to share my list with all of you also!
This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Top Ten Books I Have Recently Added To Me TBR. Shall we?
1. Dead Girls Society by Michelle Krys
I don’t know if you have read the synopsis for this book yet (if not, click on the book for the link), but this sounds like one of the most thrilling reads I have seen in awhile. Bonus, it’s set in New Orleans. I can’t help but be a fan of books set in my home state.
2. Sword and Verse by Kathy MacMillan
We have fantasy, magic, romance, mythology, and more in this exciting new release! I made a commitment to read more fantasy this year and this book will be the perfect fit for me.
3. The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye
I have read some wonderful reviews on this book lately and I must say that it has caught my eye! This book has fantasy, but it also has historical fiction. However, this isn’t just any historical fictional, it is RUSSIAN historical fiction. I cannot express how happy that makes me! I love a good historical fiction and I have never read a book with Russian culture. This book sounds fascinating!
4. Thicker Than Water by Brigid Kemmerer
This book has had quite the amount of hype and many positive reviews lately. I adore an exciting mystery, especially one I don’t figure out before the ending. This mystery also has a hint of fantasy and I cannot wait to see how it will play out.
5. Never Ever by Sara Saedi
I recently featured this book for my Waiting on Wednesday post, as I am very eager to get my hands on this book! This book, my dear readers, is a Peter Pan retelling…. If that doesn’t put some hyper in your diaper, I don’t know what will…
6. The Girl of Ink and Stars by Kiran Millwood Hargrave
More intriguing fantasy on this list! This book happens to be a middle grade novel. One of my goals this year was to read more genres and not get stuck reading just young adult. Just because it isn’t young adult, does not mean I won’t enjoy it!
7. A Tyranny of Petticoats by Many Amazing Authors
I love collaboration books. I especially love collaboration books when I am a fan of many of the authors. This fascinating book has just about every genre you can think of! I am very, very excited to read this book!
8. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sara J. Maas
I know, I know…how have I possibly not read this book yet?! I know I will love this book (it’s written by Sara J. Mass, duh), I just haven’t set aside the time to read it. However, I do plan on reading this book very soon!
9. The Hunt by Megan Shepherd
There were very many mixed reviews on the first installment in this series, The Cage, but I couldn’t help but love The Cage. I am quite the fan of Megan Shepherd…plus, she wrote a book about aliens. ALIENS, PEOPLE. That is one subject I can never get enough of. I can’t wait to see where this book takes the series.
10. Dan Versus Nature by Dan Calame
There aren’t near as many male main characters as I would like in young adult literature. When I came across this book, I was completely enamored. Not only is the main character a male, but this book is also a comedy. I have already read a wonderful review on this book, and I CANNOT wait to read this beauty!
Number 1 would be interesting to read, just to see if they actually portray the disability accurately. My TTT

Sword and Verse & The Crown’s Game both sound really good! I really want to read them. And I am excited for Tyranny of Petticoats. I still need to read The Cage, I really like Megan Shepherd too. I really enjoyed The Madman’s Daughter (I still need to get the last book in that trilogy and read it.) I am glad you liked The Cage and are looking forward to reading The Hunt.
I LOVED A Court of Thorns and Roses. Don’t feel bad about not reading it yet, I read it in December, so I was late to read it too. (I had even preordered it and everything, but I still put off reading it.) I hope you love it!
Great picks! I hope you enjoy reading them all!

There are so many books here I haven’t heard of yet, which is so exciting! I’ve added them to my tbr too, which will be neverending now. I’m SO EXCITED for Never Ever, though! Peter Pan and fairy tale retellings in general are my ultimate weakness.

I’m such a fan of retellings! P.S. I just finished reading a Peter Pan retelling called Tiger Lily…I definitely recommend reading it if you haven’t already!
