Once a week, Riley visits her father in prison. Riley’s father has been convicted of horrible crimes that she truly believes he did not commit. In a desperate attempt to prevent her father from execution and finding the truth, Riley is leaving no stone unturned to prove her father’s innocence and find out what really happened to those victims. She also makes an unlikely friend along the way.
This book took me surprise. I work for the local district attorney and all I have ever seen is the victim/prosecutor’s side of a case. For the first time, I got to see the side of the defendant’s family. It has opened my eyes on a new level. In some cases, the defendant’s family still see the defendant as their loved one. How could their loved one commit such a heinous crime(s)?
The Row will have you hooked from the very first chapter. This book is one that will make you think and challenge your current way of thinking. The Row is a very refreshing read that breaks away from the basic contemporary mold. This unique contemporary book is one you need to pick up today!
