Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish, and I decided to share my list with all of you also!
This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is…Top Ten Characters Who are Extremely Talented. Shall we?
1. Fiona Doyle in Everything That Makes You. Fiona Doyle is pretty awesome. Not only is she a great singer, but she also writes her own music.
2. Twylla in The Sin Eater’s Daughter. Apparently Twylla is an amazing singer and I’m lying if I said I wasn’t jealous.
3. Ivy Emerson in Between The Notes. Ivy plays the piano. She also plays the ukulele.
4. Shane Cavendish in The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things. Shane plays the guitar, is a singer, and also writes amazing songs.
5. Lucy Sommersworth and Jesse Palladino in Love, Lucy. This sweet couple make a great duet. Jesse plays the guitar while Lucy sings.
6. Lilah Montgomery in Open Road Summer. Lilah is so talented, she’s famous. She is a country singer superstar and everyone knows her name.
7. Marguerite Caine in A Thousand Pieces of You. Marguerite is an artist and a very talented one at that. She travels through different dimensions and all her alternate selves are talented in their own way.
8. Kestrel in The Winner’s Curse. Kestrel plays the piano. She plays the piano well enough to attract a certain someone.
9. Skylar Evan in I’ll Meet You There. Skylar is also an artist. Her preferred medium is collages, which is quite different and original than most young adult characters.
10. Gigi in Tiny Pretty Things. Gigi is dancer. Ballet in particular. She is extremely talented and always lands the lead in productions.
Who do you think is talented? Any characters I left off this list? Let me know in the comments below!
The only book I’ve read on here is The Winner’s Curse, and I have the sequel on my nightstand! I have yet to read the other books on the list!

I love the musically talented characters, which is why the Lucy and Jesse combo was so cute and I approved of Kestrel’s piano playing. Also, in A Thousand Pieces of You, she is definitely talented as well. No wonder the cover looks so gorgeous as well 🙂
