Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish, and I decided to share my list with all of you also!
This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic was a topic I got to pick that I have previously missed! I decided to go with Top Ten Sequels I Am Dying To Read!
1. Untitled (The Conquerors Saga #2) by Kiersten White
I thoroughly enjoyed And I Darken and I cannot wait for the second installment in this series!
2. Untitled (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3) by Sarah J. Maas
I believe this one is a given for anyone who has read A Court of Mist and Fury. There was originally going to be only three books in this series, but it turns out there is going to be a total of EIGHT books. That’s right, you read me correctly. The wonderful goddess named Sarah J. Maas has decided to gift us all with even more of her beautiful works of art.
3. Silver Stars (Soldier Girl #2) by Michael Grant
Front Lines is one of my favorite historical fictions to date. Plus there is some awesome girl power, so of course I can’t wait to read this book!!
4. The Ship Beyond Time (The Girl From Everywhere #2) by Heidi Heilig
The Girl from Everywhere was such a magical fantasy. This is a world I can’t wait to enter into again!
5. The Great Pursuit (Eurona Duology #2) by Wendy Higgins
The Great Hunt was one of my favorite reads this year, so it’s no surprise I can’t wait to read this sequel!
6. Blacksouls (Blackhearts #2) by Nicole Castroman
Blackhearts ended with the biggest cliffhanger. When I finished this book, no sequel plans had been announced. Luckily, not long after I had read this book, I found out there was going to be a sequel! I needed this book in my hands like yesterday!
7. Gemina (The Illuminae #2) by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
Anyone who has read Illuminae, knows how unique these books are. It’s no question has to why I want to read this sequel!
8. Blood for Blood (Wolf by Wolf #2) by Ryan Graudin
Another amazing historical fiction that I’m sure will knock off my socks!
9. The Hunt (The Cage #2) by Megan Shepherd
The Cage was such a fast paced and exciting sci-fi read! I’m very curious where this book will take the characters!
10. Glass Sword (Red Queen #2) by Victoria Aveyard
As much as I loved Red Queen, I’m surprised that I still haven’t read Glass Sword. I’m just going to blame it on all the new and shiny books that have been distracting me!
All hail Gemina!
What sci-fi new torture Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman have planned for us? We shall see in October.
Torture or not… I want this book in my life.
Sounds like a great list you compiled right there.
Even though I honestly never read any of these books ^^
Other than Red Queen (which I, sadly, did not like).
And, of course, Illuminae. So amazing.
Anyways… (:

Great list! Glass Sword is pretty great, when you get around to reading it. I really need to read A Court of Thorns and Roses, but I will definitely be picking it up, and then A Court of Mist and Fury. 😀

You have to read ACOTAR as soon as you can so you can read ACOMAF! It was one of my favorite books this year!

I was so eager to read a Court of Mist and fury that I went out on release day and bought a copy. I still haven’t read it. But I do want to. I love Sarah J Maas. And I think I need to get on the Illuminae bandwagon. I love both those authors. Great list!

We have quite a few sequels in common that we need to complete! I have been sitting on ACOMAF forever and it is just sitting on my shelf beckoning me to read it! I have it scheduled to read this month, but there have been some recent additions to my TBR that are probably going to bump it back. I hope that you get to read all of these amazing titles soon! 🙂
