Caleb needs a fake girlfriend to last through the summer. Considering the fact that he has dated just about every girl in his town, one particular girl comes to his mind. The girl that he met at the country club, Didi. When Didi is approached by Caleb with the fake girlfriend proposal, she says yes. She no longer has a job and what better way to spend a summer than attending nice parties and eating fancy foods? The no strings attached arrangement is exactly what Caleb and Didi wanted, until the two start to develop feelings they aren’t so familiar with.

Didi was such a fan character. She lives with her supportive and hard hard-working mother who works multiple jobs to pay the bills. She is confident, quirky, and very blunt. I do love a straightforward character and some of the things that Didi would say had me seriously laughing. Caleb is quite the opposite. He is serious and shy. Since the death of his mother, he has been very closed off and will not let anyone close. Needless to say, the pair is quite the opposite.

 No Love Allowed is a quick and sweet read that any contemporary fan will love. It will have you grinning from ear to ear from start to finish.

Meet The Author

When Kate Evangelista was told she had a knack for writing stories, she did the next best thing: entered medical school. After realizing she wasn’t going to be the next Doogie Howser, M.D., Kate wandered into the Literature department of her university and never looked back. Today, she is a graduate of De La Salle University – Manila with an Bachelor of Arts in Literature. She taught high school English for three years and was an essay consultant for two. Currently she writes full time and is based in the Philippines.
